How to Treat Hemroids

By George Peterson

Hemroids are nothing to take lightly, no matter if this is your first time dealing with such an issue or if you've been through this before. The discomfort and pain of it can get quite overwhelming at times.

And that is why it is so important to make sure that you are putting forth sufficient effort to make sure that you are able to solve the problem. There is no need for the doctors and their risky medications when you can treat the problem at home.

Try to stay away from throwing money away on everything out there that promises relief for you. A lot of people have been through this before, so read about what has worked for others first before you experiment yourself.

The key is to make sure that you are starting your at home treatment right away. Instead of waiting for the pain to be unbearable, it is advisable to start treatment at the first sign of trouble with a hemorrhoid.

To start, try working with a sitz bath a couple times a day for about fifteen minutes each round. Fill a tub with a few inches of hot water, (as hot as you can take it), and sit there allowing your affected area to soak in the warmth.

The warmth from the hot water will affect the hemorrhoids and help them shrink. Pat the area dry carefully with a towel after you're done, because you want to avoid having any moisture left over.

Something that most people assume they should do is to clean the affected area... don't. Avoid doing it more than one or two times per day because too much rubbing on the area will make cause irritation and worsen your situation.

Now that you know some simple steps to treat hemroids, all that is missing on your part is to actually take some action towards your goals of getting rid of hemroids. - 14130
