Simple And Effective Alternate Medicine

By Kimberlee Cusumano

Tell me what your routine is and I wont be surprised that we share pretty much the same, and more than that, more people have the same regular activities too. Each waking morning is made up of the lack of sleep to start, running to be on time for work and ending up in the office. Then hours pass by with scheduled tasks to accomplish and deadlines to beat. There is also the question of whether you'd spend lunch break at the cafeteria or in front of your computer. Evening falls and every muscle of yours is tired while going home to finally take a rest. A rest for another day just like what you just had. Good thing someone invented the concept of a vacation. But somehow, vacations don't really help much especially when your mind is left at the office or when you just can't do anything but bring home some work.

With this kind of lifestyle there's no wonder people come up with an array of diseases. But no matter what it is keeping you from functioning well, the world of medicine never stops looking for solutions. Pharmaceutical companies are growing this way, and I'd love to think that their goals are purely humanitarian. Moving on, if you feel sick, you pop a medicine in your mouth, and voila in time, you will be healed. You take some more and your healing is faster.

Work turns people into busy and tired creatures. People who abuse their bodies by pushing their systems to the limit are the favorite hosts of different kinds of ailments. The picture is completed by pharmaceutical companies who provide instant remedies. Healing means those pills you take when you experience physical pain or the series of sessions you attend scheduled by the physician.

Who doesn't want to have a healthy body and spirit? The pursuit of a healthy life is one of the most important activities people should engage in. Although people put this at the top of their priority list, they miss out on the fact that what hinders them from being healthy is maintaining balance not just in diet but also in allowing time to recuperate. Balance must also be in spiritual sense and so reiki masters advocate the importance of meditation. This practice helps you release the shut things that give you fear and stress and reduce all your negative thoughts for a more peaceful disposition. Through meditation you can let your chakras spin freely.

Those who are introduced to the healing properties of Reiki are energized and feel a new sense of vigor. This is because toxins are released through palm healing; energy is helped to flow in a more relaxed body. True, these effects make reiki an effective alternative medicine and if you have finally learned how to do it yourself, you can also help others who are in pain. Just like any other alternative medicine, this has its own limitations; that is why it still works best as a complementary aid to other healing processes you go through or medicines you take in, especially when your ailment is the complicated and serious kind. - 14130
