Need An Excessive Sweating Treatment? Here Are 5 Killer Ones!

By R. Muldrake

Looking for an excessive sweating treatment? If you find yourself sweating more than usual even when there's no reason to be sweating at all, there's a chance you have a condition known as hyperhidrosis, its a condition that over 8 million Americans deal with every day.

Don't sweat it though because I've come across some great strategies to fight this thing. If you feel you've tried everything and nothing has worked for you, here are some new solutions you have to try out:

1. No More Coffee!

If you're looking for an excessive sweating treatment, one would be to just cut the coffee out of your diet. You see coffee is full of stimulants, caffeine and sugar, a deadly combo. Both will cause your heart rate to go up, thus increasing your anxiety and causing you to sweat.

In today's coffee culture, this is a tip which can work wonders for you if you frequent Starbucks.

2. Cut Out The Alcohol

This might be a tough one, but I assure you it's worth it. What alcohol does is it dilates your blood vessels and while that may seem harmless, it results in an increase in your body temperature which in turn means more sweating for you. So cut out the drinking on your late night outings.

3. Water

If you drink water, cold water that is, you can cut down on your sweating in a big way. Why? Well when your body is sweating, it's just trying to regulate your body's temperature, but by drinking cold water, you help your body to do this job and thus reduce the need to sweat quite so much.

4. Spicy Foods

Ya, spicy foods are a no-go as well. They aggravate your sympathetic nervous system and this results in your nerves signaling your body to sweat, it's a built in reaction. So cut out the yummy spicy Mexican, Indian and Chinese foods you love if you want to sweat less.

5. Underarm Sweat Pads

If you've had no success with any of the excessive sweating treatment methods above, you can always rely on sweat pads. They adhere to the insides of your shirts under your arms and catch all the sweat that tries to escape. This is great for stopping those sweat blotches on your shirts. - 14130
