Are There Alternatives to Narcotics For Pain

By Cliff Nichols

We tend to think that pain killers are synonymous with narcotics. Just because it is not a prescription narcotic does not mean that a pain killer won't be effective. There are many choices available for pain that will not come with the risks and side effects of becoming addictive that narcotics can. One such drug is called Ultram. It is a non-narcotic drug that will not risk your liver or kidneys. You can easily find it at a much more affordable price from online pharmacies.

If you have a substance abuse problem, go get help first and foremost. Consult with your doctor before taking any type of medication. If you are suffering from real pain, Ultram can help. However, it's important to speak with your health care professional first. It doesn't mean hook up with your buddy that has a PDR. Seek help from a real doctor.

When your chronic pain is from an old injury or perhaps arthritis, you may want to chose an alternative such as Ultram rather than a more powerful prescription drug. Taking pain killers over a long period of time can have side effects on your body that could result in just giving even more pain later, down the road.

having your kidneys fail is no joke. Even people that are cautious when taking pain killers can be subjected to kidney damage. This is something you need to discuss with your doctor, not your PDR.

Unfortunately, most Americans are being forced to decide whether they should buy for food or buy their much needed medications. Being able to afford medications is a continuing battle with so many people losing their jobs and their health insurance, and there's no end in sight. Check with your doctor, as I am certain that he/she would agree that Ultram is an affordable solution for your pain relief and will have less of an impact on your body. - 14130
