The Best Way To Find Pure Noni Juice Products

By Nathan Marks

When you see the phrase pure noni juice, it means that this is noni juice which has not been blended with other juices and does not have any added sugar, flavorings or preservatives.

Some may insist that pure noni juice be unpasteurized as well, though any pure noni juice product you see on the US market is likely to be pasteurized for safety reasons. Generally speaking, however, any product marketed as pure noni juice has been produced from noni which are organically grown and naturally aged and fermented for between three and six months. This process produces a concentrated noni juice which contains all of the nutritional value of the noni fruit.

However, just because a given product is labeled as pure noni juice this does not mean that it is of the highest quality. This is because products labeled as pure noni juice can have varying quantities of vitamins and other nutrients and can also differ in flavor. Much depends on what stage of ripeness the fruit was at the time it was harvested and also the way in which it was processed. Noni which has been picked when not quite ripe will not ferment as easily as noni fruit which has already ripened. When noni is picked at full ripeness, the aging process will produce a juice which has a better flavor and a higher nutritional content. This results in a much higher quality pure noni juice product.

Some producers have a track record of harvesting the fruit too early and making noni products (including pure noni juice) which are of inferior quality than those which are made by manufacturers who harvest their fruit when ripe. The fermentation and aging process can take up to six months - the longer the fruit is allowed to age, the better the quality of the finished product.

One other thing that consumers need to be aware of is that not all products labeled as pure noni juice are in fact what they claim to be. These products may have only noni pulp or even just a noni extract which has been mixed with other types of juice; it may look like pure noni juice, but these products are anything but.

To make sure that you're really buying pure noni juice, always check the label carefully before purchasing. Look at what's contained - what you want is pure noni juice and nothing else; if other fruit juices are listed on the label, you'll want to keep looking for another product.

You should also look at where the pure noni juice comes from. The highest quality of noni fruit and juice products are those from Hawaii, the Marquesas Islands and Tahiti; all areas which have the rich volcanic soils in which noni grows best and tends to have the highest nutritional value. You may also want to look at the label to make sure that this particular pure noni juice product is pasteurized.

The FDA is not responsible for ensuring that these products are actually as pure as their manufacturers claim, so in this case consumers are on their own to evaluate this. If you're interested in doing so, it is possible to make sure that you're getting authentic pure noni juice by buying noni fruit and fermenting it yourself. It's easy enough to do - just leave the fruit in a bowl at room temperature. As the noni ferments, juice will leak out, which you can then collect. If at all possible, choose organically grown fruit if you plan to make your own pure noni juice.

In conclusion, it's important to do your homework to ensure that the product you buy is indeed pure and not watered down with only a small or inconsequential amount of noni. Always read the label carefully and once you know it's pure then go ahead and enjoy all the wonderful health benefits that pure noni juice can offer! - 14130
