Accidents occur anywhere anytime to any body. However many of us do not know that most of these accidents happen in our very homes. Which accidents occur more? None other than burn of course. Yes you may not think so but it is the reality that we have to accept. That is why it is better for us to know a bit about burn treatment.

When we are given the fact, we will at least push ourselves to get more information related to burn pain relief with burn treatment.

What are The Types of Burns Known?

There are first degree burn, second degree burn and third degree burn which range from the very minor to the very serious, burns can weakened their victims.

Many of us have underestimate the smallest burn, let me tell you it can still be really painful. Knowing how to treat burns with burn treatment will make a lot of different between a smaller calamity and bigger calamity.

Most importantly, if the burn is serious; that is it is swelling, blistering severely, or covering a large area of skin; you should not waste any time getting proper treatment. Severe burns those that are second or third degree - can be extremely dangerous so the quicker burn treatment is given, the better.

If it really is a serious case, you must check the victim's breathing and pulse rate and call for emergency services quickly. One thing you have to remember is that never remove any clothing surrounding a severe burn, this is because the skin may have fused to the clothing. In addition, never apply cold water to severe burns as this can constitute shock. What you must do when it comes to burn treatment is to keep the wound clean and moist. While waiting for emergency help come, damp tepid compresses and clean dressings are good enough.

For the minor burns that mostly happen in and around our homes; the first degree burn burn treatment can be done by you, because the first degree burn only affects the first layer of the skin. First and foremost, run the burn under cold water to stop the burning process. Then you can apply an antibiotic cream and loosely wrap the burn in clean, dry cloth. An over-the-counter burn pain relief will more than likely be enough to reduce any discomfort. If it looks like the burn is not healing after several days following the burn treatment, consult a medical professional.

Other burn treatment that you can try:

Soak or coat affected area in egg white. You will feel no pain from the burn while the egg white is still wet . When it dries up the pain may come back so reapplication is necessary.

For a smaller burn, you can use sodium bicarbonate as a burn treatment. What you need to do is mix one or two teaspoons of sodium bicarbonate with a very small amount of water, just enough to make it into a smooth paste (not runny) or too thick. After that you place the paste directly onto to burned area and forget about it for some times. Instantly the pain will disappear.

Why not try using toothpaste. It is so easy, just put the toothpaste onto the burn and it will hurt no more and heal fast

Do you know that tomato can do wonder too. First cut a tomato into wedges and take one slice to be used to rub over the burned area. Be careful not to be to harsh. The acids from the tomato relieve the pain and you will not see any blister.

Precaution will go a long way in making sure an effective burn treatment should it ever needed.
