How To Control The Amazing Power Of The Mind

By Janice Stokes

Yes, you can use the power of the mind to not only change yourself, but also influence things around you as well. In fact, you already do this on an everyday basis, sometimes without even realizing it.

Whenever you dream and desire for things in your life, if you wanted it so bad, it just seem to magically happen. As you go to bed and fall asleep hoping for things like salary increase or recovery from a disease to happen, you often find yourself waking up with that thought in your mind actually happening in your life. This is a classic example of your subconscious mind power at work.

Scientists referred to quantum physics to explain on the link between the thoughts in our mind and reality. They explained that reality is in fact a product of our own mind. Mind power creates our reality!

Even with eastern religions, the power of the mind has demonstrated its influences to reality. They believed that the concept of being real exists because it is the manifestations of our imaginations.

It seems rather ironic that in this so called 'enlightened' age of ours, our scientists are looking at historical scrolls and texts to find out the true nature of reality!

Reality is then believed to be a product of our minds. Then it is only logical to think that if we need to make changes with our reality, we needs to start working with our thoughts first. To be able to change things, we need to first appeal to the power of the mind.

One place to start making relevant changes to life is by mental conditioning. Unlocking the power of the mind through meditation can clear out unnecessary thoughts and replace it with positive thoughts and fresh new ideas. There are actually a number of techniques on which you can meditate and effectively develop the power of the mind.

To meditate, try sitting on a comfortable chair in a dark room. Close your eyes and start breathing deeply and slowly; breathing in through your nose and breathing out through your mouth. Take a few minutes doing this. Eventually, you will notice feeling a little light headed. This is actually a normal reaction to increasing the oxygen in your system.

Start by picturing in your mind that you are sitting in front of a tranquil pond, full of small pebbles. These pebbles represent every day thoughts and ideas that are constantly entering and exiting your head. Picture yourself removing these random thoughts one by one, clearing them out. Once this is done, you are ready to unlock the power of the mind. One the one side you have a pile of these random thoughts, on the other you have another pile with wishes and wants.

Don't have wishes for impossible things like world peace; these are relatively unreachable by one person alone. You can wish that you can help the planet by recycling or other things. For example, you can wish to find a dream job, one that you will enjoy, but be specific about what you want.

If you are having trouble with your relationship and you hope to talk it out with your partner, the power of the mind can facilitate healing from all the pain, which may resolve your conflict. While it cannot bring your partner to actually talk to you, it can help you become a better communicator and a better partner for your partner.

Now realize that some things may happen right away, but other things take time. Unlocking the power of the mind does take some time, and you must overcome mental programming that says you can't. This is a very simple thing that you can start with.

Although mind power has tremendous influences to every aspect of life, it still needs you to take your part. When the mind can control how your life will come to be, it is you that controls the mind and its immense power. So if you wish to get your dream job, you still need to red through the classified ads, send in applications and do your best. - 14130
