This Is One Way To Use Binaural Beats

By Lisa Moore

The hectic lifestyles we live in today are, unfortunately, the cause of much stress, headaches and even depression. They are all familiar problems experienced by many people on a daily basis.

Wouldn't it be lovely if you could just grab 10 mins relaxation, which made you feel like you've had a few hours sleep. Calm, relaxed and ready to face the world again.

Well now you can. Where as before with traditional meditation, you would need much practice to achieve these results from just 10 mins meditation. But if you haven't tried Binaural Beats, then you are missing out.

Not only can Binaural Beats cut the practice time needed by traditional meditation from possible years to just minutes, you can also produce your own Binaural Beats to match your own requirements.

You can save Binaural Beats on your computer, CD, MP3 player or iPod. All you have to do is to select the relevant Binaural Beat, sit somewhere quiet and listen through headphones. Within 10 minutes you will feel the difference.

You can produce Binaural Beats to cover a multitude of situations, from headaches through to Astral Projection. But if Astral Projection, or something else slightly advanced, is your aim then I would suggest that you gradually work your way up to these levels. The sensations you may experience can be quite frightening if you do not know what to expect.

A good likeness would be this: you have never rode a horse before in your life - would you get on a thoroughbred show jumper in the middle of a contest. Not a good idea!

Without going into the technical jargon, Binaural Beats work by altering your Brain waves by the use of external sound. Traditional meditation gradually alters your brain waves naturally - which obviously takes longer.

If you use Binaural Beats on a regular basis to aid your meditation, you will find that your brain has become accustomed to this quick change in frequency and within a few weeks you could find that you no longer need the Binaural Beats to reach the desired level.

Note: Just to help stop any confusion, Brainwave Entrainment means training/re-programming your brain through the use of external Stimuli (an outside source). Binaural Beats are an external stimuli (because they are an external sound). Many people are confused by these two terms. When you see sites selling Brainwave Entrainment, it is usually Binaural Beats themselves, or a software package that produces them.

Sites selling Binaural Beats seem to be growing on the world wide web at an alarming rate and it was my aim with this article, to give people a very brief idea of what they are and what they can achieve. I hope this has been the case. - 14130
