Home Treatments For Tinnitus!

By Fred Patterson

Do you ever feel like you have a phone ringing constantly in your head? How about a fire alarm going off all the time, or a bird that is just floating right by your ear all the time, or a constant beeping in your head? These are all symptoms of tinnitus.

Whatever the noise may be, it brings the same result: irritation and frustration all the time. You may have even started living your life differently because of it. You may not like to be around people anymore whether it is with your family, friends or your coworkers because you find it difficult to follow or be a part of a conversation. TV and music may not be as enjoyable to you as much either.

While it is possible to get tinnitus from being around loud sounds for a long time without wearing earplugs, it is more than likely caused by a base problem. Your base problem could be anywhere from lack of sleep, stress, anxiety, whiplash, or any number of other options.

If you go to your doctor, they will most likely say either: there is no cure for tinnitus or you cannot cure your tinnitus without curing your underlying cause. To a point, that is right-there is no medical cure for tinnitus. While it may help to cure your tinnitus if you cured your preexisting condition, it is not directly necessary.

Although it is important to at least start treating the preexisting condition, whether it be insomnia, too much stress, or a head or neck injury that caused it, or depression, anxiety, or whatever it may be. If you are not sure what the underlying cause is, be sure to have a physical done with your doctor and they will be able to help you determine what the preexisting condition is and how to start treating it.

Just because you are working with your doctor to find out what the base problem is, does not mean you have to live with your tinnitus longer. There are several natural and homeopathic treatments you can start using for your tinnitus.

Vitamins and herbs have been around for centuries, and they have been used to treat many medical conditions, including tinnitus. Some of the vitamins and herbs that are known to help treat and cure tinnitus is ginkgo biloba, black cohosh, sesame seeds and onion juice. There are also many others you can choose from that will help as well. Along with vitamins and herbs, acupuncture or acupressure is also known to treat and cure tinnitus as well as being very effective in treating many of the base problems in which tinnitus is a side effect of.

As mentioned before, it is not necessary to treat and cure your underlying cause of your tinnitus in order to cure your tinnitus; however it is helpful if you do and better for you as well. You are not only curing your tinnitus, but treating or curing your underlying cause of your tinnitus. There are numerous natural and homeopathic ways that you can treat and cure your tinnitus that you can choose from that best fits your life and your budget. - 14130
