How to Do a Gallbladder Cleanse

By Charles Murcier

When your liver excretes waste it is sent to the gallbladder. This is where the bile is stored. The gallbladder also has another important function of helping in digesting food.

For people that tend to eat a lot of fatty and oily food, the oil and fat deposits are stored up in the liver and gallbladder. Once the accumulation gathers up over a period of time, the fats and oils form into gallstones.

If the process of gallbladder stones continues accumulating, you could face health problems down the road. At that point, many people resort to surgery to clear out the gallbladder stones.

Using surgery to clear out gallbladder stones can be a painful and expensive procedure. Many people have turned to cheaper and alternative ways to deal with gallbladder stones.

One of these alternative ways is to do a gallbladder cleanse. A gallbladder cleanse can be done at home and you do not need expensive medicine or devices to do it.

Before attempting the gallbladder cleanse, go see your doctor first for a check up. The gallbladder cleanse could be potentially dangerous to some people so you should have the doctor look you over first and give recommendations.

The ingredients that you will need to pull off the gallbladder cleanse can be found at any supermarket. You will need to pick up olive oil, Epsom salt, lemons, and apple juice.

The entire process of the gallbladder cleanse should take 7 days. During the first 6 days, you should drink the apple cider daily.

On the last day you need to mix the lemon juice and olive oil in a cup and drink it. The mixture is not pleasant so be forewarned.

The next day when you get up mix up the Epsom salt with some warm water and drink it all. This acts like a laxative which helps you get rid of the gallstones.

Early on you should aim to do as much gallbladder cleansing as possible. Then later on you can decrease the amount of times you do it. - 14130
