Signs Of Early Menopause

By Regis James

When you first start to feel symptoms of menopause you feel like you are experiencing pregnancy symptoms. If you are a woman that has already gone through pregnancy you will find these symptoms familiar. Therefore, if you experiencing these unexplained symptoms you should visit a doctor.

Perimenopause is the name given to early menopause symptoms. These symptoms usually take place when a woman is in her 30's or 40's. During this time menopause would not be in its full blown state.

Perimenopause involve the reduction of estrogen in the woman's body, and that will begin at an early age of 30-40 years. The full blown condition will occur once the ovaries have stopped producing eggs. Menopause starts when a woman have not seen her period for more than one year. When it arrives, there is little to no visible signs or red lights because as indicated earlier the body would have been experiencing early symptoms many years prior to the full onset of the condition.

Hot flashes also known as hot flushes is one of the most significant menopause signs. This is where the individual would feel very hot and experience day and night sweats even if they are in a cool climate.

During that time, a woman may sometimes experience red skin rash, blemish or prickled skin heat. Other symptoms included tenderness of the breast, depression , insomnia, weight gain, chronic fatigue and candida (yeast infection) .

It is also characterized by pain during sexual intercourse or a lower sex drive. The mood swings and cramps you may have experienced during menstruation is now amplified.

Urinary tract infection and other urinary related problems are also symptoms. Frequent and a forceful need to urinate or involuntary urination during normally daily activity or even during sneezing, coughing or exercising are usually attributed to the early signs.

Diagnosis: A hormone test can be administered by a doctor to check its level. This is done through a blood test but the accuracy of the test is only 50/50. The accuracy level can be increased if the test is given more frequently.

After this a doctor will be able to tell you whether or not you are suffering from menopause symptoms. At this time he can offer treatment options such as surgery or hormone replacement therapy.

It would be better to consider all the natural health options prior to under going any man made treatments. There are many herbs and homeopathic remedies that will reduce the effects of the condition and provide relief. Any treatment should be accompanied by a consistent program of diet and exercise.

Be aware of the early symptoms of menopause. They serve as good signs to help you treat the condition. Always keep in mind that you are in control of your body and theses signs allow you to take action now that will help you with full blown menopause in the end. - 14130
