Colloidal Silver In The Making

By Raymond Petros

Colloidal silver is the suspension of silver with a changed molecular structure in a liquid solution.

This substance, known as colloidal silver has long been in use for medicinal purposes. Today people interested in making use of colloidal silver can easily make it at home.

Essential supplies for making colloidal silver

In order to make colloidal silver at home you will require 6 volt DC transformers, two alligator clips and two pure silver coins.

Distilled water is another item that you will require. Along with this you need to have an oxygenation bubbler, the kind which is used in fish tanks. You will also need neoprene tubing up to 2 feet long with a glass quart jar as we well as an air tight container

Making colloidal silver

1st step

The process starts by thoroughly cleaning all your equipment and supplies. The silver coins that will be used during the process need to be properly cleaned in order to obtain pure colloidal silver.

Step 2

The DC connector has to be plugged off at the end of the transformer wire. However the other end that goes into the wall should be left as it is.

Separate the wires of the cut end from the strip. At least one inch of the insulation covering from the wires should be removed. However care must be taken not to damage the wire.

Step 3

The bare wires then need to be joined to the two alligator clips. They can be secured in the proper place via soldering or crimping.

The silver coins come into action next. In this case the silver coins will be your two silver electrodes. You will need to clamp both these coins on opposite ends of the glass jar just alongside the alligator clamps.

Stage four

Next up you need to run the tubing towards the bottom of the jar and fill it up with a total of 8 oz. of the distilled water. The water should come up to the bottom of the clips.

It is important to ensure that the water is stopped before it rises up to the metal as only the coins need to be submerged in the distilled water.

Stage five

Next up the oxygenation units and transformers need to switched in and the water should be left to bubble for up to five hours.

Step 6

After the time has passed safely unplug the units and remove the coins. Make sure you thoroughly clean off any residue left from the experiment.

You will be amazed to know that you can make use of the same silver coins to generate multiple batches of colloidal silver, more so than you will ever require.

The colloidal silver can be cleaned by using the neoprene tubing to siphon it into an air tight container.

Following the above stated guidelines will help you to produce great amounts of colloidal silver with considerable ease at home. - 14130
