The Full Body Detox Mindset

By Cindy Soto

Doing a full body detox is not taking pills to feel better, whether natural or pharmaceutical.

Your body needs a cleanse and a rest from all the hard work it does. This is not a quick fix.

And so, your whole body detox begins with your mind.

It's time to give back to your body which has supported you in all your ventures. You may have taken it for granted, but now it's time to give it love.

It's a sign of the times that meals are rushed and the needs of the body often come last on the long to do list.

Are you ready to make a mind shift for the next few weeks and listen to your body?

Recognize the beliefs that hold you back, like the one that all thinking is from your brain.

Drop the false belief. Trillions of cells throughout your body have their own innate intelligence. Through them, the body functions as one unit.

Thank the wonderful body that keeps you going even though it has to deal with so many challenges it was not designed for: insufficient nutrients and minerals, toxins from "food", air toxins, and even electronic interference from cell phones and computers.

The best thing you can do for your body is to do a full body detox for 3 weeks. This is the body's normal cleansing cycle.

More than half the accumulated waste (from years of bad eating, insufficient exercise and otherwise stressful lives) is released during the first 3 weeks.

Really listen to your body during this time. Give back to your wonderful body.

Are you feeling tired?

Rest instead of pumping up with caffeine.

Be aware of how you feel after a meal. Are you feeling drained?

Then you need to change what you are eating. While digestion itself takes a tremendous amount of energy, it is the types of enzyme-less and nutrient-less foods that leave you completely wiped out after a meal.

It's not normal to feel drained.

See how different you feel on a salad with organic lettuce and sprouts.

A full body detox encompasses more than this, you can learn more. But you must start with an attitude of listening to your body. - 14130
