Acupuncture And Weight Loss

By Niall Devlin

Acupuncture for weight loss is one of many things that can be used for shedding extra pounds as it works on toning the organs, improving circulation, creating balance and harmony within the body improving the functions of the organs responsible for digestion and absorption.

However there are many things to be taken into consideration when someone wants to make radical changes in their life towards a goal in this case changing your weight... changing thinking, habits, beliefs and facing challenges, possible healing crisis and moving out of their comfort zone is all part and package of the transition.

This is why acupuncture works well and supports the whole body on every level as we are operating on different planes, we have a physical body, an intellect and are spiritual beings. When i say spiritual i mean we are creative beings, we have got the ability to choose our own thoughts. Now before we go any further this must be clearly understood.

Taking full responsibility for your health will make massive shifts in your results. Our results are a reflection of our actions thou many people are not aware of this. Its the law of cause and effect, we reap what we sow. A poor self image could cause someone to comfort eat. The root cause is not the food but their self image so its thoughts they need to change.

This is why many people fail to maintain the weight, they do diets for a few weeks then eventually there old way of thinking takes over and they are back doing exactly the same thing, getting the same results.

Your purpose for doing something must be strong enough, you must have a clear vision of the healthy body you want, you must fall in love with this idea of the new you. In order to have it you must think it, then do it and eventually be it.

Using affirmations everyday such as I am so happy and grateful now that i am slim, trim healthy and feeling fantastic about my body and myself on or before December 2010. Always start an affirmation with i am so happy and grateful and say it in present tense and put a dead line on it. Saying i am so happy and grateful changes the vibration we are in, helps us focus on our image creating space to allow things to change. Saying it in the present tense creates it in the now therefore empowering it . Giving it a deadline helps us stay on track but it is only a guess, it does not have to happen on that particular time so do not be discouraged if it does not manifest.

As well as doing the mental work (thoughts and feelings) it is also important to do the physical work (actions) like going for regular acupuncture, exercising and eating the right foods, dieting and cleansing. Doing six daily tasks everyday towards your goal and writing them out the night before will make profound changes over a period of time. - 14130
