Relaxation Audios With Binaural Beats

By Rich Russell

There are many relaxation audio CDs available these days. Most of these just consist of soothing music or sounds, intended to aid your own meditation. You may find that these work for you, but it is not guaranteed.

Binaural meditation technology was first used in the early seventies. A process called entrainment puts you into a deep, relaxing, level of meditation. With no effort from you, it works every time.

Your brain produces various frequencies of electrical waves. In the range from fully conscious to sleeping without dreaming, the order is beta, alpha, theta and delta.

Each side of your brain produces all of these frequencies, all of the time but the strength of each signal depends on what activity you are engaged in. The aim of meditation is to reach the lower, more relaxed frequencies.

With traditional meditation, you can reach alpha and sometimes dip into theta but this takes long practice and is difficult to maintain. You also can't tell what level you are at.

Using binaural beat technology, a different tone is played into each ear. The brain resolves these two tones to a single frequency which it generates as a matching electrical signal.

As long as you are wearing your headphones, you will be at this deep meditative level. You can't help it. Whatever you are thinking or feeling doesn't matter. You are getting the benefits of meditation.

You can't know subjectively if you are meditating, but with binaural beat relaxation audios, you don't have to worry. This tried and tested technology means that you reach these deep meditation levels every time. - 14130
