Aromatherapy traces its roots to the ancient world. Egypt and China are said to be countries where wide use of the practice was adopted by the population. There are records depicting the use of aromatherapy in both ancient Egypt and China. Ancient people in both countries were noted to be extensive users of herbal medicinces. It is therefore not a surprise that such a practice extended to the use of scents as a form of healing method.

All natural aromatheraphy oils are known for their profound stimulation effects on the human senses. They calm the nerves, reduce stress and make us positively aware of our surroundings.Aromatherapy has been in use since ancient times. It is believed to be in wide use in ancient Egypt and in ancient China and its popularity in these countries continue until this day.

How Long Do They Work? Approximately 4 hours. They enter the body thru inhalation or absorption in the skin and they leave when we exhale and or perspire. No side effects have been noted with the use of natural oils.

How do you store these oils? Care must be exercised in their storage. Keep them in dark, air-tight, glass bottles away from exposure to heat or extreme temperature fluctuations. Handle with great respect and responsibility because these are concentrated oils. Keep them out of the reach of children.

Sources of oils include bergamot and lavander for relaxation. Eucalyptus and oregano are good antiseptics. Insomia is addressed by orange blossom derivatives. Stimulants are best derived from the rosemary plant.

When choosing your oils for aromatherapy be sure to check that they are made from natural sources. Some new fragrances are NOT MADE FROM essential oils. They are artificial products made from using chemicals. - 14130
