Does Feeling Good Equal Good Health?

By Christian Goodman

My great friend, Bernhard Ludwig, from Vienna Austria is both a psychologist and a performer - stand up comedian to be exact. His shows are routinely sold out.

He comes to mind because whenever I see him perform or talk to him about natural healing therapies, he makes me feel, wellhappy.

Of course, there are other things than my good friend, Bernhard, that make me happy. I love to travel. I love to help people. In fact, I became interested in how happiness affects health for this reason.

In a recent study, almost ten thousand Australians who had overall feelings of happiness in their lives were also found to be in good health through the years.

What is interesting is that the usual factors affecting mood were not an issue - age, smoking, alcohol and physical activity.

So the classic "chicken or the egg" scenerio presents - am I happy because of my good health or am I in good health because I'm happy?

With all of the information presented to us about the terrible effects of stress on health, is it a surprise that happy people seem more relaxed? I think we're on to something!

I won't go so far as to say that bad health is because of a perpetual bad mood, butthe mind is powerful and should not be underestimated.

Happiness is also relative and so one should have some perspective as to what makes him or her happy and how that bears upon health.

A good approach to finding the things in your life that take away from your overall happiness is to look at those things which bring you down or at least don't conjure up happiness. Be it your job, or your education level or even your current relationship.

Yes, we all know that physical and mental relaxation and well-being is key for an overall happy life but how do we get started and once started, retain these healthy habits?

Get out and do it! Don't keep saying you'll take a walk each day with the dog, workout at lunch or after work, etc. We are creatures of habit and even if the change is good, we don't like it. The key is to start and keep at it until we do.

Our modern world is not always the world we world we want to live in but a positive approach to life goes a long way to overall success in mood and health.

If you are looking for an all natural way to improve your health and mind, I recommend my all natural programs. They are effective and easy to follow. Overwhelming customer feedback enabled me to boast this claim!
