If you've been diagnosed with blocked fallopian tubes, and you'd like answers, please keep reading. I'm going to share with you some information that could help you get pregnant quickly.
Fallopian tubes are a pair of small tubes that link the ovaries to the uterus, and are sometimes called uterine tubes, salpinges or oviducts. They're approximately 7 to 14 centimeters long, and start at the top corner of the uterus and move outwards to form a structure called the fibria. The fallopian tubes are vital for conception to take place, but they are extremely fragile and as such must be given due importance.
The fallopian tubes are made up of smooth muscle tissue, lined with ciliated cells. Ciliated cells are cells that have tiny hair-like projections that move objects in one direction. They are also lined with thin mucus to keep the fallopian tubes moist and lubricated, and to help maintain a healthy environment for sperm and eggs.
Because fallopian tubes are very delicate, they are easily damaged, and can cause problems for women trying to conceive.
Salpingitis is when the fallopian tubes are swollen due to an infection. Usually, the cause of salpingitis is pelvic inflammatory disease (which I'll tell you about in the next video). Salpingitis can result in the walls of the fallopian tubes sticking together, which causes the tubes to become blocked, thereby greatly reducing the chances of conception. Salpingitis can cause nausea, vomiting, fever, abdominal pains or lower back pains. If left untreated, it causes infertility or tubal pregnancies.
Hydrosalpinx can also cause blocked fallopian tubes. A hydrosalpinx takes place when the a watery liquid builds up in the fallopain tubes. You are already aware that the lining of the fallopian tubes release a fluid to soften its lining. In a healthy woman, this fluid runs from the fimbria- the part of the fallopian tubes nearest to the ovaries, down into the uterus. The main cause of a hydrosalpinx is pelvic inflammatory disease, however it is also the result of foreign bacteria overgrowth, endometriosis, or even damage from previous surgeries. Most women with a hydrosalpinx don't know they have one because they're not experiencing any symptoms or side effects, so it can go untreated.
Other ways fallopian tubes can be blocked by fluids include Pyosalpinx a pustled fallopian tube, and Hematosalpinx a tube engorged with blood.
Additionally, blocked fallopian tubes are caused by an adhesion. This is when tissues are abnormally connected by bands of fibrous tissue, as a result of injury, surgery, endometriosis or scarring after inflammation. When adhesions grow in or around the fallopian tubes, they can result in the fallopian tubes becoming twisted, or the lining of the fallopian tubes becoming stuck together.
Fortunately, blocked fallopian tubes do not mean the end of your chances of ever conceiving. Modern assisted reproductive techniques can open up the tubes for a limited time to allow fertilization to take place. These techniques carry side-effects, and are not always successful. Natural remedies are a great way to open up the tubes and avoid the dangers of surgical interventions. Best of all, they can be used to improve the health of yourself, your partner and your unborn baby. - 14130
